Denver Colorado Engagement :: Erin & Tyson

After rescheduling a shoot with Erin and Tyson three times, I think (thanks Colorado), we finally got to shoot on an absolutely beautiful day down in downtown Denver, over near The Tavern–the bar where these two met. Perfect weather, great light, and good company. These two are easy going, and have an incredible outlook on their wedding day, and their life together. The biggest mantra these two share: no drama. Love it. I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding at the end of August!

Boulder Engagement :: Jenette & Jon

Let me just say I’m lucky…for a couple reasons. First, when I initially met Jenette and Jon for our initial consultation down in Denver, I was 40 minutes late. Yes, 40!! When I ran through the door in a total panic, Jenette and Jon were sitting quietly enjoying each other’s company, sipping down their last sip of coffee. After a dramatically sincere apology and assurances that this was not my normal M.O., I got to meet two wonderful and beautiful people. This leads me to the second reason I’m lucky. I end up with the best clients anyone could ever ask for. Seriously, over and over again, I’m blessed to get to work with the most kind, gentle, and excellent people that humble me through and through.

So, Jenette and Jon, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your life together, and welcoming me into your lives with such warmth and sincerity!

Jenette and Jon’s wedding is being planned by planner extraordinaire, Joanna Bailey of Joanna Bailey Weddings. Jenette and Jon’s wedding will take place in August at the Denver Art Museum, and I can’t wait!

Denver Colorado Engagement :: Amanda & Ian

Amanda and Ian found me through one of my brides last year. And, I say it over and over again, but it’s true. My clients might be the very best clients around. Amanda and Ian are no exception. These two are so full of personality, joy, love, and happiness. Spending time with these two was an honor, and I feel very blessed to be a small part of their journey together.

Amanda and Ian, thank you for allowing me to spend some time with you. Looking forward to your wedding later this year!

Fort Collins Colorado Engagement :: Julie & Adam

A Texan and a Canadian. She loves pigs; he loves hockey (he actually plays for the Colorado Eagles). And most notably, they’re awesome.

I met up with Julie, Adam, and their two dogs Grace and Max up in Fort Collins, Colorado. We shot there for a little bit, and then traveled a bit north toward the Poudre Canyon. During the afternoon hours, the light is absolutely stunning.

Julie and Adam are having their wedding planned by Kelly at Frosted Pink Weddings up in Vail, Colorado.

Red Rocks Colorado Engagement :: Joelle & Will

I met up with Joelle and Will up near Red Rocks Park in Golden, Colorado. And although we were presented with a windy (okay, VERY windy) day, we did get a few breaks from the weather, and had a good time walking around and taking in the breathtakingly beautiful area.

And, what a fun, cute couple to walk around with. The two of them together are endearing. I want to hug and squeeze the two of them like a teddy bear.

I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding in June!

Fort Collins Colorado Engagement :: Laura & Jason

Giggles. That’s all Laura could do when we first met up in Fort Collins. Admittedly, she was outrageously nervous–worried about her clothes, her hair, her…everything. I reassured her that I’ve done this just a few times, and everything would be fine.

Why she nervous, however, is a mystery to me. Once we started shooting, these two seemed like total pros. They kept it light and fun, constantly engaging each other and making each other laugh. Solid people, I tell ya. My job couldn’t have been any easier.

And if you haven’t been to old town Fort Collins, go. I had never been before last weekend, but plan to go again soon. Great little area of The Fort. Loved it. And, loved this couple.

Denver Colorado Engagement :: Kelli & John

Kelli likes Coach. John likes the Nuggets. Kelli likes Coors Light. John likes ESBs. Most importantly though, Kelli and John take the cake for the most bombastic couple evah! They were up for anything, were super chill, and full of good energy. Boom!

I met Kelli and John at Proto’s in Denver, and we trekked a good six miles around the downtown Denver. And it’s gotta be a stroke of good luck when at the end of our photo shoot we witnessed someone proposing on a bridge over a river. I’ve honestly never seen anyone propose. Kelli, I too am a softie, and thought that was pretty dang cute!
