Vail Colorado Wedding :: Julie and Adam

Julie and Adam were married a couple weeks ago in Vail, Colorado at the Donovan Pavilion. And I’m so thankful that I had the honor of being a part of their wedding day. These two were a beautiful force to behold. Their love for one another is palpable, and captivating. It made my job so easy and fulfilling. I mean, there were a few shots of Adam looking at her that say so much more than words. Stunning.

Julie and Adam, thank you, thank you, thank you for spending those moments with me. I wish the two of you the very best life has to offer. I’m gonna miss you two.

Before I get to the pictures, I must give a big shout-out to Frosted Pink Weddings. Kelly and her team were, hands-down, the most professional, amazing, miracle workers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. If you’re a bride-to-be, you would be crazy not to hire Kelly and her crew. She’ll take care of you like a celebrity, and treat you like her best friend.

A big thanks to Amanda Forbes for assisting–couldn’t have done it without you.

Sneak-Peak :: Joelle & Will

I just shot this wedding last night in Denver, Colorado. I’m sure many of you will recognize the locale. Just wanted to share a couple as I was rough editing this morning that I just love–simply for the beauty of these images. Just lovely. More to come soon.

Mpix is My Hero

I just wanted to share a quick note about my new hero, Mpix.  They’re the lab I use for all of my prints, gallery wraps, canvas wraps–pretty much a one-stop-shop for any photographer.  And on top of providing amazing quality for everything I need, they do it in A+ fashion. Their turnaround is unbelievably quick, and their customer service is top-notch.

I recently shot Julie and Adam’s engagement just a couple weeks before their upcoming wedding.  And when they wanted to get prints to display at their wedding, we were very short on time–we had just three days to get the prints edited, sent to the lab, and have them delivered. Ouch. But, mpix saved our little behinds.  They printed, shipped, and delivered 20 prints of varying sizes in two days, from order to delivery. Shazaam!

So, if you’re you a bride…
If you’ve received a DVD with all your print-ready images, don’t spoil those gorgeous pictures by going to Costo or Walgreens to get your prints done. The small amount of extra cash you’ll spend on the prints is a small price to pay for immeasurable quality and longevity. And it’s the proper way to honor your special day, and the timeless artwork of your wedding day.

If you order before midnight tonight, June 2, you can get 15% off a Standout Print by using code JMOORESO.

And because every post is better with a picture, here’s another shot from Julie and Adam’s engagement.

Charleston wedding photographers - Great point about having your clients go to MPix. That is exactly what we recommend they do!

Denver Colorado Engagement :: Amanda & Ian

Amanda and Ian found me through one of my brides last year. And, I say it over and over again, but it’s true. My clients might be the very best clients around. Amanda and Ian are no exception. These two are so full of personality, joy, love, and happiness. Spending time with these two was an honor, and I feel very blessed to be a small part of their journey together.

Amanda and Ian, thank you for allowing me to spend some time with you. Looking forward to your wedding later this year!

Enjoy!

Fort Collins Colorado Engagement :: Julie & Adam

A Texan and a Canadian. She loves pigs; he loves hockey (he actually plays for the Colorado Eagles). And most notably, they’re awesome.

I met up with Julie, Adam, and their two dogs Grace and Max up in Fort Collins, Colorado. We shot there for a little bit, and then traveled a bit north toward the Poudre Canyon. During the afternoon hours, the light is absolutely stunning.

Julie and Adam are having their wedding planned by Kelly at Frosted Pink Weddings up in Vail, Colorado.

Enjoy!

Martin Cregg - Chad – went to your site as a reuslt of the testimonal you wrote about Mpix. Will explore more of your site later, but wanted to say that the ones of Julie and Adam’s engagement are really great; very natural looking and not overly posed or “forced” like many engagement photos are. Brilliant!
